Josie Oteiza brings more than 20 years of experience to her position as director of the firm’s audit department. She has diverse experience in various industries.

Before joining Ocariz, Gitlin & Zomerfeld, LLP, she served as accounting manager at a large publicly owned company, where she was involved in accelerating monthly closing schedules, implementation of new inventory, asset tracking and accounting systems. She also served as accounting manager for a start-up subsidiary of the company.

Ms. Oteiza, who joined the firm in 2007, is a Florida CPA and a graduate of Florida International University. She has been active in fundraising efforts such as the Susan G. Komen Annual Race for the Cure and the United Way.
