Jorge R. Mesa is an expert in general accounting at
both the state and federal levels and has extensive
experience in the areas of healthcare and construction
accounting. Mr. Mesa is the principal partner overseeing the firm’s accounting practice, including all staff and
final reviews. He also works on behalf of the
firm’s clients and in close coordination with the firm’s tax group
on matters of both state and federal taxation.
Mr. Mesa received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting
from Florida International University in 1992. He was accredited as a certified public
accountant in the state of Georgia in 1993 and in the state of Florida in 2002.
He has been with the firm since 1994, first as a staff member and later as a manager, and has
been a partner since 2004. He is an active member of the Florida Institute of Certified
Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and
represents the firm with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
